At Silly, we are demanding. We don't just make marzipan: we dream it, shape it, taste it and perfect it. Because marzipan is more than a treat — it is a gentle promise, a scent of childhood, an almond turned into a memory.
A story of almonds and love
It all starts here: a handful of exceptional almonds. Carefully selected, blanched to reveal their pale heart. We blend them with just the right amount of sugar — neither too much nor too little — so the sweetness caresses without dominating.
Carefully selected ingredients, genuine artisanal know-how and, above all, a sincere passion for taste. The secret? Respect for the product, and the will to do better with every batch. Since 1988, our marzipan has been the fruit of long-standing traditional craftsmanship.
The art of balance
Here, nothing is left to chance. We weigh, taste and adjust — until we find the perfect balance between sweetness and intensity. 22%, 33%, 40%, 50% almonds… each proportion tells its own story. More almond, more character; more sugar, more indulgence. And always that unique texture: soft, tender, almost melting.
Where the almonds are born
Our almonds come from lands where the sun has flavour. Under the skies of Spain, the United States and Portugal, they ripen slowly before reaching us. We taste, smell and test them — because good marzipan begins long before the first bite.
The pleasure of variations
Marzipan is a blank canvas. We sometimes enhance it with pieces of candied orange, a hint of pistachio or a touch of chia seeds. We shape it, colour it, even bake it for the holidays. Nothing is off-limits, as long as it is delicious, authentic and indulgent.
Bespoke, the Silly way
Our customers — artisans or dreamers — know that here, everything is open to discussion. A softer texture? More almonds? A specific format? We make it happen. Because our marzipan has no fixed shape: it adapts to your needs and to your idea of good.
One bite, and it all comes back: the sugar melts, the almond takes over, the memory resurfaces. It is soft, authentic and Belgian. It is our marzipan. And soon, we hope, yours too.
